AboutI am a landscape painter based in Idaho Falls. I work in both oils and acrylics in the format of studio and plein air paintings. I am inspired by both quiet details and the monumental grandeur of the landscape. In my work I aim to strike a balance between the "big picture" and the "little picture. You'll see a dual focus on the smallest bits of life such as the bending of blades of grass and the gleam underwater pebbles as well as the mass of looming mountain ranges and powerful bodies of water. That balance of big and small reminds me of appreciating what is right underneath your feet while still look ahead and beyond what you already know.
