My figure drawings have been going through some major changes this semester in media and in concept. I'm in advanced figure drawing. In the past I've relied heavily on very tonal and dramatic charcoal drawings. I mostly focused on form and value with little narrative. This year I've been focusing much more on creating a narrative between the figure and the space around the figure and the relationship between figures. The background of my drawing used to be an afterthought and were dominated by dark tones. This year I've been experiment with adding text, color, and environmental aspects to my drawings. That being said... here's a couple examples!
This is the place where I post current works, upcoming shows, inspirations, and general thoughts about art.
